We are taking the situation seriously and will implement the Public Health England suggestions - most of which are common-sense.

The following changes are in place:

With regard to Private classes, we are asking all students and teachers to wash their hands before and after each class.

We will not supply mats to students until further notice and students  should give their mat and props a clean before and after practice.

Other props are available for use currently but the use of props is ultimately at the discretion of each individual and teacher.

Teachers will refrain from any hands-on adjustments in class until further notice.

Teachers and Students must NOT participate in any face to face classes if there is any possible reason to self-isolate; recent travel to hotspots, coughs, illness or any flu-like symptoms, exposure to high risk groups of people, etc.

We ask that all students and teachers keep up to date with - and implement - the latest NHS advice on:

Prices, discounts and Payment The prices are subject to change and are clearly stated on the online booking system before purchase and on the website. Unfortunately we may not have change at our studios so appreciate correct change for cash payments. We accept card payment online.

Membership To come to the classes, even as a drop-in MamaYoga will ask for your contact details and to fill out a health questionnaire to register as a member. Membership does not incur any subscription fees. It is at the discretion of MamaYoga to refuse membership to individuals.

Booking classes Booking in advance is highly recommended, particularly for any evening classes, as we do not reserve spaces for face to face drop-ins. To book on the online booking system MamaYoga requires full payment upfront.

Cancelling your class MamaYoga’s cancellation policy allows upto 24 hours’ notice period of cancellation prior to the advertised start of the class that you have booked on. You may cancel and have a full refund of your class. However, less than 24 hours prior to the advertised start of the class, you will still have to pay in full. Cancellations are best made through the online booking system, but you can also email

Waiting lists if the class is full you can still book into the waiting list and when there is a cancellation you are notified by email and added to the class.

If you don’t get onto the class you don’t lose your class pass

You must have your account set to receive auto emails or you won’t be notified of the space

Usually spaces come up 24 hours before the class so check then to see if you are on the class

Late cancel or no show penalty we are getting so popular that no shows mean that someone missed out on yoga. If you no show or late cancel 3 times in a month we could suspend your online booking rights for a week.

Arrival times Classes start promptly at the advertised start time of the class. So please try to be on time and allow yourself plenty of it especially for online classes in case of bad connections and technical setups for Zoom. If you do not arrive in time, don’t stress, take a breath, we know little ones can be unpredictable, still join us but try not to disturb the other clients in the class. If we have already started we advise you to take a moment on your matt to arrive, breath and join in after 5 mins.

Harassment and discrimination MamaYoga aspires to be a safe space for anyone to practice yoga, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality, body type, ability or experience. We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding any type of verbal, physical or sexual harassment. Anyone found exhibiting these types of behaviours will be asked to leave the class and will have their membership permanently revoked. Payment for any classes, workshops, passes or events will not be refunded. The decision to remove a client from a class and/or the studio can be made by MamaYoga and its staff at any time.

You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a medical professional prior to and regarding participation in the practice of Yoga.
